Jeremiah 6:16 ‘This is what the LORD says: ‘Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, Where the good way is, and walk in it; Then you will find a resting place for your souls.’ God wants us well.

Healing (spiritually, mentally and physically) is a very intimate process. So intimate that Abba, Himself, calls us into it and diligently creates the processes needed to draw us ever so closer to Himself, as King Jesus shepherds us through them. Which is one of the reasons why the enemy works over time in this particular area of our lives: to try and drive us farther away from King Jesus, and to wrongly try and stop us from being able to receive more of Him, more from Him, and abundantly live within Him. And to make it even worse, the enemy has also wrongfully wrapped it all up within thick layers of oppression and condemnation, designed to have us teetering on the edge of wrongfully accusing others and even ourselves. But our Sovereign Abba is All-Present, and has already provided our victory, amazingly He has also ensured that difficulties of the flesh simply press us deeper within our King Shepherd’s Healing Embrace. And as we cling only to Him, we become more aware of Him than anything else, which allows Him to eradicate the layers between us, wrongly built up over time, as well as heal our inner ears so that we may hear Him more clearly. Warming our hearts with John 10:27-30, ‘My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.’

With our inner ears focused solely on the Holy Spirit, King Jesus is also able to more clearly shepherd us into the private upkeep of these bodies, Abba’s living temples, which is crucial for us as we live here on earth. Abba, our Creator, designed and created these bodies, and only He truly knows what each of us may uniquely need, as well as what we should abstain from, which is vastly different for each of us. Amazingly, as King Jesus diligently shepherds us into these specific areas of our lives, He also begins to show us a new depth of His comment written in John 4:31 ‘Meanwhile the disciples were urging Him, saying, “Rabbi, eat something.” But He said to them, “I have food to eat that you do not know about.”’ Spiritual food is far more vital and far more valuable to us than anything else we may partake of, and combined with what we have grown up understanding about water and food of the flesh, that profoundly reveals a lot. But He actively lifts up those sometimes overwhelming responsibilities of upkeep, both physical and spiritual, as we actively, moment by moment, choose to draw closer to Him and rely fully on Him, allowing King Jesus to become our priority. In response, He fortifies our bodies as strong Towers glorifying Abba, and not ourselves.

Strong Towers for the Great I Am glorifies Abba in profound ways because God wants us well. This can be uniquely seen in Exodus 23:19, mysteriously revealed by the Holy Spirit with the instruction, ‘…You are not to boil a young goat in the milk of its mother.’ A mother’s milk is fortifying, that of abundance, wholeness and just what infants physically need, healing their weaknesses and fortifying their immune systems to strengthen them for what they may encounter in the future. And mothers sharing it with their young is also a very, very intimate experience. The Holy Spirit reminds us, ‘where we are weak, He is strong.’ Seeing Exodus 23:19 through King Jesus’ Sacrificial Blood continuously flowing over us, He actively shows us how that verse intimately describes and reflects Who the Great I Am is. He gives Life, He sustains it, He is all about wholeness, wellness, and completeness; He is All-Knowing, All-Powerful, and All-Present, and as King Jesus declared Himself: ‘only God is good.’ Abba, our Loving Holy Father, does not kill, nor destroy, which by using a mother’s milk in this way would wrongly put more emphasis upon the meaning of death, of separation and lifelessness, and that is not Abba, nor Who He is. All Glory and Honor unto the Lord our God, Hallelujah, the Lord God omnipotent reigns!
