Those little pesky things which add together to form bigger things are no longer little irritants, nor annoyances, nor difficulties, nor thorns we dislike. Instead, as we intimately live in Jesus, moment by moment more aware of Him than anything else, we see how He, along with the Holy Spirit, intentionally works towards building within us an assurance based solely on Abba, the Great I Am. Amazingly, we begin to no longer see what is unavailable, impossible, or unheard of, but are able to wait in Jesus’ presence and attune our inner ears towards His guidance, His touch, and His direction in order to prepare us and place us right where we need to be in order to receive our sustenance from Abba, which also includes the richness of His glory. With Jesus’ Sacrificial Blood fully coating us, we are actually able to intimately relate to, ‘I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, or the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.’ (Psalm 121) The things of the flesh no longer overwhelms us, the dangerous environments we are sometimes called to live in, no longer are chains upon us, and no longer do we relate with the impossibilities, nor uncertainties. We are no longer “locked-in” to adversity, destruction, or even limits. Instead, we intimately see the Great I Am, the Creator of all things with His loving, disciplinary Hand spiritually and physically touching us. Our assurance is not what happens in the flesh, nor what doesn’t happen; our assurance is simply reliant only on our Heavenly Father, our Creator, the Great I Am!
