‘Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. For the Lord is good: His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.’ (Psalm 100:1-5) His devoting presence of protection is constant, active and vibrantly alive, but, as we have seen so many different times while our relationship with Him has deepened, it is our choice to hear it, experience it, see it, or welcome it. And now? What is the difference between the start of our deepening journey to our present day with Him? Well, when we are faced with things we are unsure of, or are unable to make a decision, or see which way we are to physically go, miraculous things inwardly happen because of our own unwavering devotion to Him. Our hearts rise up and sometimes confuse our minds, not allowing it to make any headway in deciding so that we will do the only thing we can do, which is to turn exclusively to Jesus and wait on Him to guide us. Living in Jesus is boldly living which requires complete faith and assurance in our Shepherd who we intimately know is lovingly holding onto us stronger than we could ever hold onto Him. ‘Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the Blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh; and having an High Priest over the House of God; let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.’ (Hebrews 10:19-22) Praise King Jesus, His faithfulness to us is beyond anything we could ever experience. Happy New Steps, coated richly with the Sacrificial Blood of our Lamb, King Jesus, throughout 2019!
