Sometimes there really is nowhere for us to physically turn, where we will receive the depth of help, encouragement and more particularly, what we really need for healing and fulfillment. It may be a moment, days, or even months that are very painful to understand, and difficult to comprehend, but in some miraculous way the people, who are always ready to help us, are quieted down and barely even there in an amazingly Divine way; and for a very specific reason. These physically painful moments, and periods of time, then become an amazingly, nourishing mental and spiritual moment because we are reminded to turn directly to where we should always be turned to. To Him, whose reign we have chosen to actively live under while we are physically present in this world. This also reminds us that our reliance is not on ourselves, but on our Creator who allows us to hear from Him, and who specifically created us in His amazing image. John 10:27-30 reminds us, ‘My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s Hand. I and My Father are one.’ Those painfully, frustrating moments in the flesh can be a specifically eyeopening nourishment we mentally and spiritually need which becomes vital in strengthening our secret awareness of Him within, leading us into another depth of our deepening relationship with Jesus. ‘Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right Hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: and hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all.’ (Ephesians 1:15-23) Our reliance on God is rooted deep within our actively private relationship with our beautifully amazing Shepherd, residing within these bodies; these living temples of Abba’s. Praise King Jesus, all glory and honor unto the Lord our God, may our secret awareness of Him become more profound than anything else we could ever encounter!
