Each diligent moment, each diligent choice, and each diligent decision in Jesus allows the Holy Spirit to filter our thoughts, and clear our spiritual eyes and ears. We are no longer swayed by what appears in the flesh to be a beautiful prospect, nor a horrifying and bleak opportunity because we intimately know there is a depth to all things. So much has changed, so much has been cleansed and healed, and so now, as we make the decisions in the flesh we are responsible for making, there is always a vital part of ourselves which remains fully open, waiting for Abba to step in and impress upon us whatever He would want to communicate to us. Our trust lies fully with Him, and despite what our decisions are, we will always crave for Him to have the final say. ‘The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of rightousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me, Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.’ (Psalm 23) As we continuously gaze upon our Shepherd, within, He intimately strengthens and sharpens our awareness of Him so we are able to confidently live not trusting in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God! Praise King Jesus!!!
