God’s peace and Goodwill towards men through Jesus Christ, our Savior, continuously, deeply cleanses us which allows us to profoundly say, ‘Therefore hath the Lord recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in His eyesight. With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt show thyself upright. With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt show thyself froward. For thou wilt save the afflicted people, but wilt bring down high looks. For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.’ (Psalm 18:24-28) Under King Jesus’ reign we actively choose to be more aware of Him than anything else and as a result we have experienced multiple times how His strength intensifies and pushes through our being in the moment it is needed, while His healing, correctness, and discipline rises up in the moment it is needed. His comfort fills us in every moment we need it to and the Holy Spirit further ensures Abba’s knowledge and instruction enters our minds in the moment He equips us to receive it while our steps are guided forward in the moment He needs them to move. ‘For ye were sometimes in darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of Light: (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.’ (Ephesians 5:8-10) We are right standing with God, and are in His perfect peace and Goodwill all because of King Jesus, our reigning Savior, our Guiding Light!
