The Great I Am, all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-present, allows us to go through processes instead of sometimes instantly allowing things to happen or change, not just in the flesh, but more importantly, within us, individually. This allows us to learn a new depth into who He is. In our private relationship with Jesus, we are placed in a position where we can learn a uniquely different perspective on Abba and His deeply abiding love. God, our Abba, intimately desires for us to get to know Him, which also allows us to actually see and intimately be aware of a vulnerability in Him. It is a vulnerability often overlooked, and normally not even taught on, nor even thought about. However, as we actively live under King Jesus’ reign, with the Holy Spirit (the very Breath of God) being our Comforter, we are aware of certain character traits that God has as well. Remember one of the very first amazing scriptures we have ever learned? Genesis 1:26-27 – ‘And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.’ In our deepening, private relationship with God, He opens Himself up to us as well. This vulnerability I am speaking of isn’t what we would normally consider vulnerability to be, for no one could ever take advantage of the Great I Am. This vulnerability is profoundly powerful and unprecedented, and isn’t subject to the limited ways we are often only ever aware of. However, it is a vulnerability that allows us to see a sweetly touching, and yet, also, uniquely and absolutely awe-inspiring sensitivity in Him, which is exposed specifically for us, individually. One that we all experience differently and extraordinarily in our private relationship with Him. Why? Because He intimately knows us, individually, and deeply loves us. It is a love that has been in existence before we even existed, and He doesn’t love us anymore now than He has from the very beginning because it is who He is. He is Love, and His Love is all-consuming and all-powerful. It is a constant love so powerful it also blesses us with the ability to only ever see one color in people, which is Red: the Sacrificial Blood of the Lamb warmly and sweetly, continuously coating every aspect of us and them. Praise King Jesus, we actively live under His reign and no matter what we encounter, one thing is certainly clear and will never change: who we are in Him. And more importantly, as we choose to be more aware of King Jesus than anything else, He in-turn strengthens our confidence, gifts us with specific authorities, and allows us to live in a profound state of awareness of being a reigning child of God. And it warms our Abba’s Heart that we confidently look only to Him and say with authority, as our minds fully realizes on multiple levels through the Holy Spirit’s help: “I am my Abba’s daughter (or son).”
