Our purpose every day is to draw after Jesus while He intimately reminds us in James 4:8: ‘Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.’ All of our experiences, both good and bad, have ensured that we know we cannot thrive, nor blossom, nor even live without His constant nourishment which actually ensures that we are rooted and grounded in King Jesus, and unite with Him in Abba’s will, in His purpose for our lives. We draw near to Him and He draws near to us, for He has become the very Breath we breathe, and this unity is vital during these physically darkening times as the antichrist spirit steadily increases over the world. Only as we unite with King Jesus is Abba’s love, grace and glory able to shine forth from us while also protecting us from being wrongly drawn and moved by the things not of Him within society. As King Jesus warned the disciples regarding the last days, ‘And at that time many will fall away, and they will betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will rise up and mislead many people. And because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will become cold. But the one who endures to the end is the one who will be saved.’ (Matthew 24:10-13) We actively unite, every day, with our Savior, our King Shepherd, Who actively lives within us and secures us under our Abba’s sovereignty.
