Abba has 7 Holy Days, which are His Appointed Times mentioned in Leviticus 23, known as The Feasts: The Spring Feasts include – Passover (the day King Jesus was crucified), Feast of Unleavened Bread (the day King Jesus was buried), Feast of First Fruits (the day King Jesus rose from the grave), Feast of Weeks – Pentecost (the day King Jesus gave us The Comforter, the Holy Spirit, mentioned in Acts). These Spring Feasts were fulfilled by King Jesus’ first coming, and the remaining three Feasts are Abba’s Fall Holy Days which will be fulfilled by King Jesus’ second coming: Feast of Trumpets , Day of Atonement, and Feast of Booths: Sukkot. Last night at sundown, the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah/Rosh Hashanah “Head of the Year”) began and is celebrated by the blowing of shofars. This reminds Israel of their first encounter with God, Yahweh, as a nation, which was announced with the blowing of a Divine Shofar. In this encounter, Abba revealed His Glory to approximately 3,000,000 Israelites, but they were not ready to meet Him and so they trembled in fear at the base of Mt. Sinai. However, Moses, the most humblest man of God, climbed the mountain to meet His God (information was obtained from Discovering the Jewish Jesus). Also, according to Rabbi Schneider, “The Feast of Trumpets is a picture of the rapture when Jesus will return with the blowing of a trumpet from heaven. Those who are not prepared to meet Him will tremble in unspeakable fear. But those of us who are ready to meet our God will ascend and meet Messiah in the air just as Moses ascended the mountain to meet our God.” Praise King Jesus! We are reminded of this by Paul in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: ‘For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.’ L’shanah tovah – May it be a good year! ‘And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.’ (Revelation 22:7) Even so…. come King Jesus!
