A moment’s hesitation, a moment’s thought, a moment’s word, a moment’s look, and a move made in that one specific moment can actually heal the root of a majority of your problems. What is the root of most of our problems? Our free-will choices; when we choose something over the Lord we turn from Him and cannot receive what we truly need. Look at these moments: Someone around you is not glorifying God, and you can feel your spirit cringing, distance yourself from them, or if you can’t, then turn your focus within and turn on your praises to Him; don’t soak up their troubles. Your body feels the rise of a fear or worry, turn your focus within and turn on your praises to Him; don’t dwell in that fear, nor worry. Your body is dwelling in pain, turn your focus within and turn on your praises to Him; don’t lock yourself in the pain, but welcome His sheltering embrace as He goes through the pain with you and guides you towards your healing. The one purchase you want, but cannot afford, place the item back for another time when cash is at hand, and turn your focus within and turn on your praises to Him; don’t add to the debt. Too many overwhelming things to do, well pause, take a breath and start one thing from the list and turn your focus within and turn on your praises to Him as you fulfill the task; don’t accept that overwhelming feeling, God’s timing is way better than ours. You are craving that which is dangerous or unhealthy, refuse to think on what you crave, turn your focus within and turn on your praises to Him, while asking the Holy Spirit to feed you a craving for Him; don’t accept a fleshy environment within, allow the Holy Spirit to change it into being a Divine environment. The Divine perfection of a moment is when you turn to Him for your need, and begin to live out the solution to your problems His way. When our free-will choice is to turn to Him, our intimate relationship with Him deepens, flourishes, and becomes our priority. Praise Jesus for allowing us to humbly receive that which we need!
