Continuous healing flows from our Abba’s Divine forgiveness. And unlike our Abba’s limitless view of forgiveness, we ofttimes spend way too much time on the offense, and not enough time on the healing. So as we remain firmly connected to our Savior, and as the hurt slams against us, we hear the Holy Spirit whisper, ‘Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.’ (Isaiah 41:10)  Moment by moment living in Jesus allows us to become more aware of Him than anything else, which then allows the Holy Spirit to safeguard ourselves by not allowing the offense to cause us to stumble. What an amazing confirmation to a radically changed life in Him, because we are no longer overwhelmed by other people’s wrong free-will choices, either done intentionally, or unintentionally, nor are their offenses, or the results of them, the boulders they once were. Our successes are not dependent on what they do, it is only dependent on what our free-will choice is. So as we use it to only choose Jesus, the only One who can truly heal us, we become intimately reminded of the discipline and healing Jesus continuously nourishes us with on a daily basis, thereby allowing us to release that same gift to others, changing those offenses into becoming opportunities where we are further reminded of who is actively reigning within our individual lives. ‘But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.’ (Isaiah 40:31)
