The truth, “Christ within you,” is being nurtured, and nourished deeply within you through your free-will choice of always choosing Jesus, and you are now seeing your Lord and Savior in a whole new way, and intimately wonder, how could He have lived even a moment on that cross without His Abba’s Divine assistance, as He had grown to know? Your focus is changing and you are now recognizing that the most heart-wrenching pain ever imaginable is actually having to live a moment without Abba’s loving help. And when He had to turn away because He could not look upon the sin being placed on our Savior, well, that is something you cannot even comprehend. We are able to actually experience an amazing depth to that, through the Holy Spirit, as we simply read the heart-wrenching cry in Matthew 27:46, ‘And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?’ As we read those Divine Words with the Holy Spirit, and He reminds us of things in our lives that can only be explained through Him, and His personal guidance, we begin to see how Jesus’ cry on the cross gave us a glimpse into that soul-wrenching pain of devastation that went beyond the physical realm. A pain more horrifying than any physical pain ever could be. But we are not to focus on that pain, no we are to focus on the amazing, miraculous result: Our Abba turned His back on Jesus so that we may never have to experience Him turning away from us… Hallelujah, what a Savior!
