There are times our Shepherd will lead us into Shabbat, there are times our Shepherd will lead us into action, and there are times our Shepherd will halt our minds, requiring us to mentally remain quiet within Him. During these times, things around us keep moving forward, nothing slows down, nor stops, however we are able to uniquely see our Shepherd intimately at work both around us, before us, under us, above us, behind us, and more particularly, within us. Each and every tiny, single thread regarding our lives is being kept profoundly under His reign, and so many uniquely different things happen during these times. Sometimes it is a moment Abba allows us to really see how He knows exactly what we need, more so than even we do. And at other times, it is a moment He shows us how He knows exactly what matters to us, even things that we had often thought had no hold on us, Abba will show us the binding roots we never realized were in existence with the work we have accomplished with and through Him. Roots He has personally directed to be grown and bear fruit, and now with having them reached their peak, He can uniquely show us His healing power as He profoundly separates us from those roots in order that He may lead us into a deeper, lavish richness of His glory which awaits us in the next season of our lives as our Shepherd intimately leads us into it. Our obedience and readiness to remain silent in Him, as He has stilled our hand, or slowed down the thinking processes within our minds, allows us to actively experience and witness Psalm 46:10: ‘Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.’
Be still and know I am God. That is what Abba has been telling me lately. It is ever before me. Praise God for He is good.
