Through several things, both good and bad within our lives, and yes, even those sometimes nagging issues, or even momentary frustrations, we have learned that the only way we can possibly live is through Him. Choosing to be more aware of Jesus than anything else allows us to remain in peaceful victory, wholeness and hope despite what we may see, hear, or encounter. It is His Light, brightly shining, which has shown us a depth of who He is and who we are in Him. In our personal journey, as our relationship with Him has deepened, we have also become uniquely aware of how the Holy Spirit supplies the very breath we breathe which goes beyond the flesh, and has its roots deeply embedded within our souls, which are, now and forever, specifically held in the Great I Am’s Hands. Our Guiding Shepherd, and His very existence within us, reveals so many different unique and powerful ways of the depth and vital necessity in scripture 1 Thessalonians 5:16-21, which states, ‘Rejoice evermore.  Pray without ceasing.  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.  Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings.  Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.  Abstain from all appearance of evil.’  Staying turned exclusively to Him, within, is the only way we now know how to live, in fact, we are so attuned to Him we may not even be aware of the effect it has on those we come into contact with. But it is at this point that it is very crucial to remember that while we have focused only on Jesus, the Holy Spirit has allowed us to be more aware of how Jesus continuously cleanses, heals and refreshes us so that there is no darkness within us, and being our Husbandman, Jesus also specifically maintains this environment within us. And so now, it is under His reign that we are led through difficulties, and into moments where He has been dimmed, and it is through the Holy Spirit that power, both in fire and water flows forth from what we say, do, or act. The Holy Spirit even privately reminds us in Ephesians 5:8-11 ‘For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of Light: (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.’  No we are not perfect and never will be, but our Savior continuously cleanses us and keeps us fresh and whole in Him.  We are only able to truly encourage, inspire, and support others because we are fully supported by Him, and it is His glory shining through us, and never ourselves. We experience the same issues, problems, difficulties and even turbulence that all others experience, and are even affected by the consequences of others, but as Jesus surrounds us and the Holy Spirit breathes new life into us, we find ourselves only able to respond through Psalm 27:1, ‘The Lord is my Light and my Salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?’  Praise King Jesus, our Messiah Yeshua, the Only continuously shining Light in a darkening world!
