‘I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shall go: I will guide thee with mine eye.’ (Psalm 32:8) Only Jesus can properly guide us as we focus only on Him, and amazingly, in so many vital ways, the Holy Spirit places us into other people’s lives and allows us to look at their lives, hear their experiences, and rejoice in the Lord with them through their struggles and victories. Looking to others and hearing their experiences helps us to see many different amazing stories unfold which often uniquely encourages us in sporadic but clearly defined ways as the Holy Spirit applies specific things we learn to our own lives. His reminders of things we need to privately handle, do, or even change, miraculously sheds Jesus’ Light on what we need to see. However, what is even more important for us to be a part of is our own story. We cannot live outside more than we do inside, one-on-one with Him, and our private alone time with Jesus is as vital as the oxygen we breathe. Our hearts remain held perfectly within Abba’s Hands as the Holy Spirit redirects our focus to remain fixated only on Jesus, within us. And Isaiah 30:21 explains, ‘And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.’ Isaiah 58:11 also says, ‘And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.’ Only the Holy Spirit can healthily balance us, making sure we do not forget that there is an inspiring story developing right within each of us. Praise King Jesus, Abba is in every intricate detail, making each and every moment a sweet moment, indeed!
