We do not have control over life, but we do have control over our choices. And through Jesus, our choice for obedience to God unleashes His wisdom, His victory, His timing~ Him, all we could ever need.  I am sure each of you can remember those times you really became sensitive to knowing how little control you really did have in this life. It may have happened at various stages in your life, at specific times, or it may have even happened at one monumental time. Either way, it probably also came with a barrage of unsettling feelings and emotions which threatened your inner stability, and created another issue because at some point you deeply and finally, fully understood that God doesn’t want you to feel that way. 2 Timothy 1:7, ‘For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.’  We are called to be victorious, and to live victoriously because our Savior conquered all things in the flesh, and He is meant to guide us through this world. Upon realizing we needed to actively do something in order to fully embrace Him and allow Him to essentially do all He needed to do within us, another aspect of our maturing process began.  For some of us we may have experienced an even harder, unsettling time, because as we began to “let go” of even the things we had once wrongly thought was in our control, we also became hypersensitive to the uncertainties of tomorrow, and the negative aspects of living in this world. However, unlike times before, we were no longer searching outward but instead, felt the impression of being led inward. We turned within, aggressively clung to Jesus, and waited for the healing, confidence, and assurance only He can give us to flourish within these living temples of Abba’s, and to build within us what is needed to continue to live as Abba has designed us to live. The healing happened, the mindset has been profoundly changed, and now, way beyond our expectations, our eyesight was cleansed and even our inner ears were finely tuned to be sensitive to His impressions. For some of us, this may have become one of the major pivotal times in our lives when we learned what it was to actually stand on His truth, and where we intimately realized that He, our Creator, is the only One who could make it possible for us to obediently live as He has commanded us to. A Love far grader than our limited minds could ever comprehend, and another aspect where we intimately learned a depth to what is spoken of~ God is Love. Our dependency rests solely on Abba, the Great I Am, Creator of all things and we are deeply aware of Jesus’ reign within our lives. ‘My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation: He is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.’ (Psalm 62:5-8)  The only way we now know how to live is to look, moment by moment, to Jesus. We will even pull ourselves back to the moment at hand at the slightest change in our environment. And when the Holy Spirit guides our thoughts to the future, we are no longer affected by the uncertainties because regardless of what we face, we now see the profound, excited and endless possibilities as our hearts uniquely and expectantly rest in Abba’s Hands. We know we are His from here, and on into eternity. Obedience keeps us secure within His perfect design, and keeping our hands securely on Jesus is the only way we now know how to face tomorrow. Praise King Jesus!
