Our King Jesus, in preparing for the worst, He sought Abba: “And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto Him from heaven, strengthening Him. And being in an agony He prayed more earnestly: and His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.’ (Luke 22:41-44) Our King Shepherd allowed us to know an intimacy between God and ourselves is possible through Him: ‘Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.’ (John 14:23). He allowed us to understand He leads us to greater things than earth, which is our Creator: ‘He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.’ (John 1:10-13). King Jesus allowed us to understand all things are possible with God: ‘When His disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible: but with God all things are possible.’ (Matthew 19:25-26). He allowed us to understand it is possible to not worry, as God has commanded us to, only because we actively live within Him. ‘And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou has finished all the work for the service of the House of the Lord.’ (1 Chronicles 28:20). Our King Shepherd intimately showed us our communication with Abba is the most vital and important part of our life, allowing ourselves to be continuously laid bare and wide open, within, to Him, the Great I Am: ‘Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.’ (Philippians 4:6-7) Praise King Jesus, He has secured us within Abba: ‘But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, Whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.’ (John 14:26) Praise King Jesus, all because of Him we are able to intimately see how deeply the Great I Am, our Creator, our Abba, loves us, as well as intimately know all things are exceedingly well because in this moment at-HisHand He is continuously with us!
