As God told Abraham, ‘…that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.’ (Genesis 22:17-18) And then the Gospel starts out in Matthew 1:1, ‘The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.’ (Matthew 1:1). Together, they are another testament to the vital importance and revelation of our relationship with Him. What an amazing, eye-opening freedom it is when we are able to clearly experience how, through our deepening relationship with Jesus, that the Holy Spirit has corrected and healed our human, natural tendency to categorize our relationship with Abba into a religion, when it isn’t. Christian, a follower of Christ, is who we are; Disciples, students under His discipline, His instruction. Being a child of the Most High God is our very existence and describes our active relationship with our Creator, Father, Daddy, Abba, the Great I Am. This has allowed us to openly embrace our reigning Savior, King Jesus,the King of the Jews, and embrace the truth of the earthly, Jewish roots of our faith in which we were actively grafted into the vine by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as children of the Most High God. God, the Creator of all, is our Abba, who knew us before the beginning of time, and is actually closer to us than even the blood rushing through us; and now, well, we are able to actively see how this healing within our mindset has given us access into freely experiencing a new depth regarding Abba as our Sole Provider, and this aspect of a richness of His Glory, of Who He is, compassionate and gracious. Those of us that within our heart’s deepest desire and prayer is to have every single, tiny part of ourselves, both in the flesh and spirit, to continuously be actively touched by Him and fully placed under our reigning King Jesus, well, it is happening. Our prayer is being actively answered in every moment of every day, Praise King Jesus! For who do you think has intimately fed us with that soul-yearning, heart-warming desire? He, our Abba, who has called us! ‘…that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own Right Hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: and hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the Head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.’ (Ephesians 1:17-23) And again, I say “Praise King Jesus!!! We are His and He is ours.”
