Focusing on King Jesus gives us a choice to accept Truth over the flesh, it doesn’t happen automatically but is a consciously, continuous choice we are responsible for making. Accepting His Truth allows us to: see His Smile in the midst of the storm, to witness and experience His sweetness during a devastating situation, to embrace His strength, within us, in order to handle a circumstance that our long-suffering Abba has placed us in, to greatly anticipate His goodness for the next moment at-Hand, to cling to Him when uncertainty strikes, to actively dwell in His Peace as a daily existence, to treasure His Shelter more than a successful out come, to cherish His Breath more than even our own, and to lovingly see Abba’s Hand hovering above the chaos. It is a choice that we make in which the Holy Spirit nurtures and diligently uses during the process King Jesus privately takes us through, in order to fully heal our mindset. A healing we need in order to more fully embrace His guidance. We are spiritual beings and it is not the body that sustains life, but it is Abba Who does. ‘O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our Salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In His Hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is His also. The sea is His, and He made it: and His Hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.’ (Psalm 95:1-6)
