We cannot control other people’s free-will choices, nor the consequences of their actions, but we can self-discipline ourselves to control ours to be actively focused on Jesus so that He may prepare us for what lies ahead. Remember, John 16:33~”These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” When your focus is first and foremost on Jesus, the Holy Spirit will intimately remind you to not trust in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God and that God is greater than all things and His Word is greater than all words. We are not promised tomorrow here on earth, but we are promised something even better, a beautiful, blessed eternity with Him. And in the meantime we are to be overcomers in this world through Jesus while He leads us, strengthens us, and heals us so that He may personally build into our lives Divine trust, Divine faith, and Divine confidence in Him. Thank you to the many men and women who have, are, and will be sacrificing and serving our country for our continued freedom here, in America, so that we may continue to openly praise and worship God, and may the Lord strengthen, heal, and give you endurance as you continue on in Him.
