Storms come in all shapes, sizes, and sounds, and they can seemingly come without warning; they are the problems, the negativity, the hardships, all things not of God meant to weaken you and to take your focus from Jesus. And this world is full of that sort of chaos, however, we see the storm coming, we hear the storm thrashing, we experience the storm’s pounding, but we do not know the storm~we only know what we need to know, our Jesus, our Anchor, our Love, our Strength, our Deliverer, our Savior, our Lord who lovingly shelters us through it while He deeply embeds within us His peace and strength that boldly keeps our soul from fainting, and keeps us upright as the winds grow in strength. And our smile only widens with the intense howling because we confidently know that God is greater than all things and the Holy Spirit lovingly feeds us His truth of 1 John 4:4 “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Shabbat Shalom!
