Obedience. May that one word become something that you intimately treasure, and passionately desire. Obedience is actually a beautiful, unique form of worship to Abba. Think about it, when your heart and mind is crying out to be obedient, you are intimately telling your Abba that you want what He wants for you, because you recognize Him as your Creator, and acknowledge the fact that only He truly knows what you need, and only He can truly provide it for you. It also states that you recognize you need to allow changes to be made within you in order for that to happen, because you intimately know the deepest truth: Only God is Good!  Being obedient doesn’t mean you will not make mistakes, it isn’t about that at all (because you are already fully covered in the Forgiving Blood of Jesus), but instead, it means that you desire to continue to follow Jesus, no matter what it takes, because you have to stay where He is at, and are willing to do all you need to do to be more sensitive to the Holy Spirit specifically leading you to eradicate all sin, and embrace virtue within every aspect of your life. Obedience is actually a blessing. ‘Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: and ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.’ (Exodus 19:5-6) What beauty there is in obedience, which allows Him to draw us even closer unto Himself!
