He secures His place in the very root of the journey…

Only Jesus can release a dream, nourish it into a reality, and make it into a journey: It is that seemingly, unattainable goal, the one thing that may have even been placed within you for as long as you can remember. It is that specific thing you picture yourself doing in this life, and although others may see the impossibilities of it, you more powerfully see the possibilities. It is a gift, a dream, the one thing which strengthens your dependency on Jesus and deepens your relationship with Him, because not many others truly believe it can happen. And miraculously, He guides you through it while the Holy Spirit secures your journey. You then find that the goal is the specific thing which provides the opportunities to learn more about “seeing” His Light in the darkness, when your mind is unable to comprehend or understand it really will happen; it provides experiences where you intimately learn the nourishing strength and feeding of Hope (strong expectation) when uncertainty and closed doors are all around you, allowing you to understand His Hand when it touches all other aspects of your life; it provides moments that intensely breaks down and simplifies your life, allowing you to understand what it means for the Holy Spirit to breathe for you and how your free-will choice for Jesus opens you up to a miraculous life. But it still pales when you deeply realize that really, all you really want… is Jesus! That is what keeps you rooted to Jesus when success happens, a very personal and intense reminder you are only successful and able to even operate because of Him.

The unbelievable victories experienced when each moment is fully sacrificed to Him…

The beauty of fully yielding, and sacrificing your mind to Jesus? You are continuously worshiping Abba in your thoughts, and as things come up, throughout each day, your focus inwardly looks to Jesus and as the subtle, or even overpowering mental pain, frustration, anger, doubts, uncertainties, irritants, or even anguish continues, they are being strategically dealt with by Him. Jesus then sifts thru the arrows, healing and mending their effects, while you deal with whatever He impresses upon you to deal with, speaking truth to eradicate the lies, releasing His Word the Holy Spirit is feeding you, or by leaving what He instructs you to leave at the foot of His cross. And as the momentary healing commences, you continuously step forward as a new creature in Him, with fortified hope and strength only He can provide, while the Holy Spirit empowers you to obediently follow Jesus as He intently tries to deepen your relationship with Him. Another depth of learning is also happening: the Holy Spirit is privately instructing and showing you the importance of keeping your focus all on Jesus, moment by moment throughout each day, becoming more aware of Him than anything else. These, and more, unbelievable victories are experienced, but are often overlooked when each moment is not fully sacrificed to Him. And when you are not fully sacrificing, you are not fully living. These are those small, but powerful, momentary treasures only able to be privately revealed as you choose to actively live in His presence… moment by moment living in Jesus!

Following Jesus is not just believing, but it is actively believing…

A person can believe in Jesus and still not follow Him. Think about it, to successfully follow someone, in our physical world, you must sacrifice your intentions and desires towards where to go, why, and how, and instead, embrace theirs, which causes you to have to exercise a measure of trust in the one you are following. You internally and externally recognize and accept that the person you are following knows where they are going, where they are taking you, and how. So why would it be any different in following Jesus? It doesn’t just happen because you believe in Him, it takes more. As you actively acknowledge Him, and live in His presence, moment by moment, you are allowing Him to become Lord of all things in your life and to continuously cleanse you and teach you to self-discipline your thoughts, mouths, ears, and life, and you are also freely allowing the Holy Spirit to make you more sensitive to His guidance and instruction, as He reveals a depth to you in truly, actively following Jesus. Jesus may be trying to lead you somewhere, that in your physical eyes you would reject, and wrongly think, “There is no way He would want me to go there,” so in response, you would speak against it, and turn from the direction, trusting in your physical eyes over Him. However, after intently living in His presence your relationship with Him has deepened, and as you have placed Him as a priority in your life, your spiritual eyes have become stronger than your physical eyes, and so you are now fully yielded, fully sacrificed, and wanting to only go where He leads you to. And as you are actively aware of His provision you are then led to that same place, the place you would have physically rejected, only this time in response, you speak and do what He empowers you to do in the moment therein for the moment thereof, because you live moment by moment in Him, and now… you embrace the blessing that had been waiting on you. A Divine strength of confidence intimately built within you, beyond anything you could have ever imagined, another richness of His glory! Following Jesus is not just believing, but it is actively believing.
