Things not working out in the flesh no longer thwarts our plans, nor does it cause us to stumble, nor question why. Those things are simply distractions, meant to distract us from our Abba’s ultimate desire: to draw us closer to Himself. But they are also opportunities for our Abba to privately reveal Himself to us, because as we find ourselves affected by the pounding effects of the flesh, we are only able to cling to our Savior, while our thoughts are being healed and taught patience. All the while, the Holy Spirit actively reigns within us, and comforts us, reminding us of specific Truths geared towards our experiences, along with the Divine victory that is already present. We are no longer concerned for the tool used to refine, and condition us, because we intimately know who the Wielder is, and we deeply know that our Shepherd leads us through the refining process. We will go through whatever we must, in order to make us more sensitive to Him, which is our greatest desire. Because what is foremost in our minds is, “For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.’ (Romans 14:7-8) Praise Jesus, what weight is lifted and what freedom we are actively experiencing because we know we exist for Him, and we are His, the Great I Am, who is all-present, all-knowing, and all-powerful!
