Our Shepherd actively leads us, the Holy Spirit is the very Breath we breathe and our heart and mind remains wide open to Abba’s tender touch. Living in this way has created astounding results within our bodies, these living temples of Abba’s. And one of the major things that has changed has been our mindset, the depths of which we may never fully understand while living on earth, but a portion of its depth is seen when, for us, it is no longer about having to “have faith,” nor even trying to “get faith,” those things never even enter our minds anymore because we know we have Him, within. In fact, we are now even sensitive to the blocks that are present in that type of thinking because we are actively aware of Him, alive and active within us. Although we physically live on earth, and in the flesh may be separated from Him, the division and separation is no longer even in existence for us. King Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, actively leads us through each and every moment; and we can now appreciate and see how trial after trial, issue after issue, rough roads turning into smooth roads, with the valleys leading towards the mountain tops, have all served one very endearing, profound and extraordinary purpose: deepening our relationship with our Savior, our King Shepherd who actively leads us. It is He, who we continuously have our inner eyes turned to, our inner ears attuned to, and our inner beings resting against. We are never alone. It is no longer us living in this world and trying to fit Him into it, nor doing things and then turning to Him after the fact. We no longer do anything alone, and as a result, we no longer blindly live, blindly think, nor blindly see, nor do we stumble in the dark by trying to wrap our minds around what we are facing, or may have to face, when He has not equipped us to understand it in this current moment at-Hand. Too many times to count have we fallen into that horrible fleshy weakness, which the Holy Spirit has diligently taught us on by showing us how it only wrongly serves to unsettle His peace reigning within us. Instead, we have chosen to be more aware of Him than anything else, and we patiently and undoubtedly know our Shepherd is fully aware of what the next moment will bring and He will be with us at every step along the way. We actively embrace a continuous awareness of Him, our King Shepherd within, all while living under the countenance of the Great I Am, our Abba. ‘Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and set down at the right hand of the throne of God.’ (Hebrews 12:1-2) Praise King Jesus, we have Him, and are now deeply, secretly aware of His protective presence within us!
