Grumpy, in a bad mood? Choose Jesus over your grumpiness or bad mood, inwardly concentrate on Jesus and say that you actively choose Him over your grumpiness and bad mood. Not happy? Choose Jesus over your unhappiness, inwardly concentrate on Jesus and say I’m not happy, I’m not sure why, or state if you are sure, and say that you actively choose Him over the other. Afraid, worried? Choose Jesus over your fear and worries, inwardly concentrate on Jesus and say that you actively choose Him over your fears, anxieties, or worries. Need motivation: lack energy, or desire to exercise, or to do whatever needs done? Choose Jesus, inwardly concentrate on Jesus and ask Him to give you strength and motivation. Sad, even if you don’t know why or if you do know why? Choose Jesus, inwardly concentrate on Jesus and say that you actively choose Him over your sadness. Tell Him you know that only He can wipe your tears, heal and comfort your sadness regardless of the cause. God is greater than all things we experience and life is not limited to our life on earth. Our time on earth is limited, but our lives are not. We do go on for eternity so we must first and foremost cultivate our relationship with Him because going from this world to the next it is always stripped down to being just Him and us, individually. No one can argue your way into Heaven and the Holy Spirit will quicken your soul, so what a beautiful reason why to cultivate a relationship with Him, and get to know Him so that you are not afraid to die. Choosing Jesus first in all areas of your daily life, moment by moment, strengthens your awareness of Him, allows your relationship to become more personal and intimate with Him, and internal faith, trust and confidence in Jesus is effectively built within you, which will see you through anything. May you always choose Jesus because He cares more for you than anyone else ever could and He wants you to be an overcomer in this life through Him. It is your choice, He is always waiting…so actively choose Him!
