Limitations of the flesh, the day in and day out decaying reality we deal with, and the ever-changing physical world around us strategically works to incessantly strip us so our spiritual eyes can clearly open as our physical eyes are closed. Only then can we truly and more intimately see the profound existence of our Creator’s depth defining, earth shattering love specifically directed to each of us; that profound richness of His Glory! As we actively live moment by moment in Jesus, the Holy Spirit is able to heal our thinking pattern, renew our priorities, and sanctify our moments. It is those precious, sometimes very painful, eye-opening moments when we privately learn that the only thing we can rely on and trust in is our limitless, never changing Creator. Trusting in God’s love closes our limited perceptions and opens us up to expecting limitless results because we personally realize how little we really know. That triggers our reliance to shift to rely more on spiritual happenings, our trust to shift to trusting more on what our Abba says, and our minds to shift to rely only on what Jesus says. Only our Shepherd can effectively guide us into His resurrected victory, all the while strengthening our relationship with Abba, and nourishing our faith as the Holy Spirit personally secures us. A richness, only our Creator can provide!

Our deepening relationship with Jesus reveals the miraculous change in our understanding. We no longer rely on what we know, what we learn, or what we think we need to find out. Our minds become less engaged with the world and more attuned to our Savior, as the Holy Spirit interprets and “shows” us what we need to truly see. What is happening is that we are relying more profoundly on our Creator, and less on our physical world. We are deeply learning there is always a depth to all things, and that depth is intimately known only to our Abba, the Great I Am. As our determination stays fixated on only wanting Jesus, we intimately begin to actually see how open, continuous and active prayer is. It is a private, life-giving opening to a communication our Lord unfailingly secures and monitors, and an environment where He specifically builds and strengthens our trust, intimately nourishing our faith in ways beyond our limited minds.

You are continuously, intimately nourished because you are praying without ceasing, in other words, you are actively acknowledging and speaking to Jesus throughout the day, regardless of who is around you, or where you are. You have privately discovered the vital importance of the Mystery of the Gospel. And because of that, you have intimately made changes to your life as the Holy Spirit uncovered each thing that needed dealt with or changed. It is those things that may contain lies in them, or are wrong, and do not line up with Him, it is even the subtle changes of choices you may not even recognize as being wrong, nor as being placed before Him in your life as a priority. But He matters more to you than anything else, more than even the uncomfortable feelings, or frustrations you may experience in trying to handle and change those issues, because to ignore them would put blocks between you and Him, and you are willing to do anything to see that doesn’t happen. And as you deal with them, you also begin to recognize that you are partnering with Jesus to radically eradicate sin, and all things not of God, from your life, so that your life can be lined up in His sovereign will. Through each cleansing, each change, you begin to find yourself no longer trying to figure things out. Instead, when new issues and things come up, you immediately turn within and speak to Jesus, your Shepherd, in order to make sure you stay behind Him, and not step around Him. Then over time, you start to discover that you are actually more patiently waiting, and are even enjoying the wait, because you have learned God’s provision comes in His perfect time, where only the depth of healing, and correction can happen. And as you make those bold choices, the Holy Spirit reveals to you that those painful, cleansing moments where you freely chose Him over the sin, and ignored your feelings so you could deal with those issues, had become powerful steps of learning to walk by faith and not by sight.
